'Howard Stern' Bikini Teacher Marie Jarry Suing School Officials

A teacher who resigned from her position at the Thalberg School in Connecticut after pictures of her in a bikini showed up on the Internet is suing school officials for pressuring her to resign. Former second grade teacher Marie Jarry, who popped up on Howard Stern's web site in a bikini as the winner of the 'Ugliest Man, Hottest Wife' competition, is seeking back pay and damages after she says school officials forced her to resign under duress.

Perpetual beach bum Matthew McConaughey and Brazilian model girlfriend Camila Alves welcomed a new baby boy into the family on Monday evening. It was the second celebrity birth for the day. Actress Nicole Kidman and country singer Keith Urban also welcomed a new baby on Monday, daughter Sunday Rose.

Stripper Candace Houlihan Claims Affair with A-Rod, Supports Divorce

Forget the alleged affair with Madonna. A former stripper has come forward claiming she had a brief affair with New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez and is lending her support to his soon-to-be ex wife Cynthia Rodriguez as she files for divorce. Candace Houlihan claims she had sex with A-Rod twice back in 2004 while Cynthia was pregnant with their first child.

Military Officials Call for an End to ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’

A new study released this week by a team of retired senior flag and general officers from the U.S. military has concluded that the ban on openly gay service members is counterproductive and should end. The nonpartisan study group has a combined century and a half of military service from all four branches of the military, and it marks the first time a Marine Corps general has ever called publicly for an end to the gay ban.

Facebook Group Attempts to Resurrect New York’s Roxy

Back in 2007, one of New York’s oldest gay nightclubs—The Roxy—went dark to make way for what, at the time, was a rumored condo co-op. According to TowleRoad.com, those reports might have been premature. The new owners have applied for a liquor license and a Facebook group has formed to counter a group of Chelsea residents looking to block the new owners from resurrecting the gay landmark.

Sandeela Kanwal Balks at Arranged Marriage, Winds Up Dead

A Georgia man of Pakistani descent allegedly killed his 25-year-old daughter over the weekend when she objected to an arranged marriage to a man she hadn’t seen in months. According to ABC News, 56-year-old Chaudhry Rashid was scheduled to be arraigned today on charges of strangling his daughter Sandeela Kanwal. Police responded to a domestic disturbance call at Radhid’s home Sunday and found Kanwal dead upstairs.

Gays Condemn New Homophobic Anglican Sect

Human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell is calling a new breakaway faction of the Anglican church 'fundamentalist, homophobic and sexist.' Tatchell, along with gay Christian and Ugandan gay rights activist, Kizza Musinguzi July picketed a meeting at All Soul’s Church in London on July 1 of the newly-formed Anglican fundamentalist sect, the Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans (FOCA).
